My Story

I am a qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist with a strong passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives.

Unusually, I did not begin my career in the fitness industry. For 15 years, I worked as a professional chef, catering for numerous sporting events and cooking for professional athletes with varied nutritional requirements. This experience gave me a deep understanding of sports nutrition and how food supports performance, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

Around a decade ago, I decided to follow the second great passion of my life—fitness. I made a career change and began working in a gym, qualifying as a Sports Massage Therapist alongside my training career. This combination allows me to use exercise and soft-tissue therapy to help clients recover from sports injuries, improve mobility, lose weight, tone up, and build confidence in their training. I have also supported clients in preparing for specific sporting events and developing long-term, sustainable exercise habits.

Since 2020, I have worked at David Lloyd Gym in Brighton, where I have been recognised with Employee of the Month, Group Exercise Instructor of the Month, and Employee of the Year awards. In addition, I work at Core Chiropractic Clinic in Brighton as a Sports Therapist, collaborating closely with chiropractors and physiotherapists to provide well-rounded care for clients.

The excitement and passion I feel for my work mean that I always go the extra mile. I put 100% effort into everything I do, which motivates not only me but also my colleagues and clients. I believe that everyone is different, and I work closely with each individual to design personalised training programmes or treatments that align with their goals, lifestyle, and abilities.

My Core Values

My core values were written over 15 years ago and continue to guide the way I work today. They are built on respect, trust, professionalism, responsibility, teamwork, innovation, and recognition. I believe in treating every client with respect, creating a trusting and supportive environment, and delivering the highest professional standards. I take full responsibility for my work and continuously look for better ways to help my clients progress. Recognising effort and celebrating achievements—big or small—is central to my approach, as motivation and confidence are key to long-term success.

Outside of my professional work, I am always looking for new personal challenges. Each year, I set goals that push me both physically and mentally, including half marathons, HYROX competitions, hiking challenges, and cycling events. These challenges keep me motivated, grounded, and constantly learning—qualities I bring directly into my work with clients.
